Program Description:
Our classroom is a child-centered model that encourages and promotes active engagement, independence, and positive relationships. All staff and Specialists work as a team to provide Specially Designed Instruction geared towards the individual learning goals of all children in our program. We embed learning opportunities throughout each class activity and provide a developmentally appropriate environment. Students in our program develop friendships, follow classroom routines, and build early learning skills to prepare them for a lifetime of learning. In addition, typically developing peers are part of the classroom community to provide developmentally appropriate models for students.
